Elite Golden Retrievers specialises in breeding Purebred Dark Golden Retriever puppies that are DNA tested for all hereditary diseases. Elite Golden Retrievers breed for nice conformation, outstanding health, amazing natures and eye catching looks. We have been breeding dogs for over 8 years and put all of our time and effort into ensuring our clients are getting the perfect puppy for their family!

Here at Elite Golden Retrievers all of our mums and dads have had thorough health checks done to ensure they meet high breeding standards to produce happy and healthy puppies for families to enjoy for years to come! We feed our babies a premium diet that consists of raw meat and royal canin food, these are all high quality foods which enhance the dogs quality of life, skin and coat.

Elite Golden Retriever puppies are known for there outstanding personalities, having now placed 4 puppies with mobility dogs to become future assistance dogs raising puppies with calm and intelligent personalities and an even temperament is very important to us! Our puppies have been brought up around 3 young children, other dogs small and big and have been extremely well socialised and handled. Our puppies come to you crate trained through the night and with their toilet training well and truly underway, a full schedule and routine is provided before handover. We are here to support you through the entire process and life of your new puppy.

Can you transport my puppy to me?

Yes we absolutely can transport your puppy to you! We offer free delivery services to Auckland, Waikato, Taupo, Hawkes Bay and Bay Of Plenty areas.
We also offer flight services for people out of these areas.

$405 + GST which includes a cage within the North Island

$505 + GST which includes a cage within the South Island

What is the selection / adoption process?

Our selection process takes place once the puppies personalities have shown between the ages of 5-6 weeks old in the order of our waiting list. We offer an open day when the puppies reach this stage and allow families to come and choose their puppy and meet the puppies parents. If you are unable to attend the open day due to distance or other reasons we also offer FaceTime video calls, photos and videos to help your selection easier. Please fill out our adoption form and I will get back to you with availability. In order to secure your position on the waitlist we require a $500 deposit to ensure commitment from our clients prior to the puppies being born.

What are your Terms and Conditions?

Our puppies are sold without NZKC registration papers, the puppy is sold as a family pet, not for showing or for breeding purposes. We recommend that your dog is desexed as advised by your vet at your own expense. The buyer agrees to provide a life-long commitment, a comfortable environment, prompt medical attention, adequate exercise, proper grooming and responsible care. This includes keeping this dog parasite free and up to date with worm and flea treatments, proper nutrition (consisting of good quality professional food given at regular intervals), and fresh water available at all times.

Our puppies are sold with their first vaccination, microchip and a full vet check preformed by our veterinary clinic. All future vet costs and vaccination costs are at your own expense and are not the responsibility of Elite Golden Retrievers ltd.

Returns and Refund policy

There may come a time in your dogs life you may need to find him/her a new home for an unforeseen reason, Elite Golden Retrievers is here to help in any situation and we always want the best for our puppies, our puppies are a life-long commitment and only go to forever homes but we understand that unexpected changes can happen in your life and that is why we offer the breeder buy back scheme, we ask that if your circumstances change your puppy is returned back to us so we can ensure your puppy is finding another loving, safe and happy home just like yours.
